Given the recent reports of the 2025 spring commercial honey bee losses we at Wild Hives were interested in what the specific losses might be for those who keep their colonies in Layens Horizontal Hives.

MAY SURVEY (part 2 - apiary and bee sources)
OPEN April 30th
Because of increased interest and recommendations to collect additional data we have decided to do a Part 2 survey open during the month of May with results to be submitted back to the community in June. This second survey will focus on your apiary conditions and sources for your bees. I hope you will consider participating.
Wild Hives continues to be interested in assisting our Layens community with data and analysis so we will be posting a survey every spring going forward with results compared to past years. Your willingness to submit each year is greatly encouraged and appreciated.
